Lyndon Fire Department

Lyndon Fire Dept. is a 100% volunteer fire department in the Village of Lyndon, Il.

The Prophetstown fire protection district is made up of 3 stations. Prophetstown, Lyndon, and Hoopole. It is an ALS (Advanced life support) ambulance service as well. As a district they serve 138 total square miles consisting of Whiteside and Henry counties in Illinois and currently operates with 5 engines, 1 tender, 3 squads, 1 car, 2 ambulances, 2 boats, and 2 brush trucks.

There is an annual Lyndon Fire Department Pancake breakfast that is always regional attraction.
