Wright’s Easter Egg Hunt
Started in their back yard around 2005, the Wright’s started an Easter Egg Hunt that grew too large that it had to be moved to Richmond Park (a large park in the village). Now over 4,000 people attend their annual egg hunt. A fun-filled family day can be had each year at Richmond Park with over 30,000 eggs that need to be found, bounce houses, food vendors, music, and more. The unique thing about this event is their bicycle giveaways. Over 400 bicycles (all donations) are given away along with other prizes. The Wright’s goal each year is to have each child walk away with something.
The event got so large it was featured on local TV stations. It is one of the largest Easter Egg Hunts in the region.
