Preserve the Lyndon Bridge for Future Generations
The Lyndon Bridge is an integral piece of history for the Village of Lyndon. In the 80s and 90s it was deemed unsuitable for vehicle traffic and was to be demolished, however through a community effort the bridge was saved and is now used for pedestrian traffic. If you would like to help preserve it, please consider donating a plank.
When you walk along the bridge planks, you will see placards with messages from the donaters. Donating ensures old rotted planks are removed and new ones are installed. This keeps the bridge safe for pedestrian traffic.
